happy days at the park

Got to spend the day at Sam Lewis park yesterday and I have to say that I grew up going to this park  but I never knew they had all these different trails you could walk. So John, Charlie, and I took a couple different paths and by the end of our journey my calf muscles hurt so badly we had to take a little break. (this girl is not used to working out :) We had a good day and after the park we cooked burgers on the grill and then took Charlie to Ritas for his Birthday ice cream. (he is going to be 5 years old on the 9th!)

Now it is Sunday and all I'm planning on doing is sitting my butt on this couch and reading, watching tv and possibly napping.

This weather has been so nice! Today we took a lovely hike and are now on our way to Ritas to celebrate our dog Charlie's Birthday! Little man is going to be 5 years old and he needs his pup cup

Took a beautiful walk this week with my pug. I hope this weather stays warm now.please, please, please!

Now going to go and take some photos of different fabrics and patterns for a project I am working on for my husbands birthday.....

launch music festival

Saturday night John and I went to the Launch Music Festival over in Lancaster City. I cannot tell you enough about the amount of fun we had! We got to listen to some amazing bands. A few of our favs were the Glazzies (my favorite, if you like the vines then you will like them), LoveBettie (Johns favorite), Hot Jam Factory (they are from Harrisburg!) and June Divided. I'm super excited because I was able to get there demos and EPs and most of them are releasing their very first albums soon. I highly suggest you check them out on Facebook and Twitter.

We also had a fun, first time experience at Waffle House! The best way to end a night is with a delicious waffle.

day seventy - seventy three

 

A day at the park.

 

John and I found this cute little park a couple miles from our house that is one of our new favorite spots. It has a little pathway running along side a creek, which Charlie loves to play in.

So I have had a couple late nights trying to get my craft room/office cleaned up and in order to do that I needed some music to get me pumped and motivated to clean it. If you know me at all I am a pretty big hog and do not like to clean. So go check out my Late Night playlist over at Grooveshark!
